Nothing To Do With My Internship, But I Miss Scrubs
I know this has nothing to do with my internship this summer, but it might give you some insight to my inner child. See, I love the television show Scrubs. Every now and then I wish I had a friend who would call me Brown Bear.
On my walk home from work today, I was listening to Journey – “Don’t Stop Believin’” and wished I was sitting in the coffee shop at “Sacred Heart Hospital” eating a muffin with Kelso, checking out that fine nurse Carla. Is she Dominican or Puerto Rican? Like it matters.

About Balancing Act
The key to change… is to let go of the fear….. The summer internship with the State Department is over, but they were able to keep their hooks in me. I’ve been excepted into their SCEP program and will continue to work for them as I complete my last year of my Masters. This school year I’ll splitting time between Pepperdine and The George Washington University in Washington DC. In the end I’ll have a Master in Public Policy, I hope to be brought on as a full time employee with the U.S. State Department.
Over the next school year my blog will document my thoughts and adventures over this exciting time in my life. I hope you all enjoy. I know I will.
